Volunteers

We have lots of volunteers who help out in the school to help with children’s learning.

Many are parents, but we also have an exciting mix of students, academics, ex-pupils, local members of the community and those considering a career in education. 

Regular volunteers provide support in classrooms and for individual children to help them make progress. Find out more about regular volunteering here

Some people volunteer for “one off” activities. We keep a data base of people with specialist knowledge and expertise who would like to volunteer to run an activity for a class or do a short presentation that links to our curriculum. Please note: Safeguarding the wellbeing of our children is of course a number one priority.  Regular volunteers are asked to undertake a DBS check and provide us with two references using the form below.  We also ask our volunteers to read "Keeping Children Safe in Education, Information for All Staff" and our Safeguarding and Child Protection Policy. These documents can be found below.
